The aim of the event was to present the project results and to exchange expertise with people from science, practice and administration. In the morning, there was a comprehensive presentation of the work from the three-year project period with presentations on the co-design process, economic-ecological modelling, passive acoustic monitoring and AI-based species recognition programmes as well as the social network analysis of farmers. There was also a poster session in which guests had the opportunity to present a poster they had brought with them. After lunch, we continued with short presentations of other research projects that also focus on the protection of biodiversity in agricultural landscapes. We welcomed speakers from the KOOPERATIV project, the AgriScape project and the CAP4GI project. The event ended with three parallel workshops on the topics I) Biodiversity in cultural landscapes: Research approaches for the future, II) Cooperation between science and practice: success factors and challenges and III) Opportunities and challenges of results-based payments: monitoring and consulting. A total of 38 people took part in the event. We would like to thank all guests for the good discussions and the great exchange of ideas and are delighted with the success of the event!
