Forschungsschwerpunkt
The inter- and transdisciplinary NamTip project (NamTip – Understanding and Managing Desertification Tipping Points in Dryland Social-Ecological Systems – A Namibian Perspective, https://www.namtip.uni-bonn.de/) aims to understand the social-ecological background when a semi-arid grassland ecosystem shifts towards a desertified state. I focus on functional plant ecology and the comparative analysis of desertification tipping points in Namibian rangelands.
